Held for the most part out of doors, the 16\u00a0exhibits and installations will show the work of 15\u00a0artists from Qu\u00e9bec and abroad, along with a selection of photographic works gathered in the exhibition <em>L\u2019espace du livre<\/em>. With just two exceptions, each of the exhibits will run from July 15 to September 30, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nVideo: unveiling of the programming | 2021 Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/565672699?app_id=122963\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen title=\"&amp;Eacute;dition 2021 | EXPOSITIONS | photogaspesie.ca\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nTo see in the C\u00f4te-de-Gasp\u00e9 RCM<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/bertrand-carriere-in-petite-vallee\/\"><em>Sound Mirrors<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Bertrand Carri\u00e8re<\/strong> (Longueuil, Qu\u00e9bec) will be presented at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Vieille-Forge site in <strong>Petite-Vall\u00e9e<\/strong>, while Mus\u00e9e de la Gasp\u00e9sie, in <strong>Gasp\u00e9<\/strong>, will play host to the augmented-reality project <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/sven-in-gaspe\/\"><em>Plongeons<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Sven<\/strong> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec). Still in Gasp\u00e9, <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/nele-van-canneyt-in-gaspe\/\"><em>As if the day never existed<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Nele Van Canneyt <\/strong>(Belgium) will take place near the Horacio LeBouthillier house (a few steps from the Birthplace of Canada).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To see in the Rocher-Perc\u00e9 RCM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/maude-arsenault-in-perce-ile-bonaventure-et-du-rocher-perce-national-park\/\"><em>Fabric of self: folded and folded again, 2021<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Maude Arsenault<\/strong> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec) will be presented in two locations in Perc\u00e9: on the boardwalk (Charles-Robin historical sector in <strong>\u00cele-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Perc\u00e9 National Park<\/strong>) and near Rue du Quai. In <strong>Chandler<\/strong>, the park in front of Cantine du Chenail will host <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/renaud-philippe-in-chandler\/\"><em>Isolation<\/em><\/a> by documentary photographer <strong>Renaud Philippe<\/strong> (Qu\u00e9bec City, Qu\u00e9bec).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To see in the Bonaventure RCM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/marie-claude-gendron-in-paspebiac\/\"><em>Time\u2019s out | Temps fluide<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Marie-Claude Gendron<\/strong> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec), composed of photos and videos, will take place in two outdoor settings: the site of Centre culturel de <strong>Pasp\u00e9biac<\/strong>, and the boardwalk. The video installation <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/leila-zelli-in-paspebiac\/\"><em>Why Should I Stop?<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Leila Zelli<\/strong> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec), meanwhile, will be staged inside the cultural center. Near the tourist information center in <strong>Bonaventure<\/strong>, the public will be able to see <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/valeria-luongo-in-bonaventure\/\"><em>A Sisterhood<\/em><\/a> (a community of nuns) by artist <strong>Valeria Luongo<\/strong> (Italy\/Great Britain). At <strong>New Richmond<\/strong>, Taylor\u2019s Point Park will be exhibiting <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/chloe-beaulac-in-new-richmond\/\"><em>The places that inhabit us<\/em><\/a>, the result of the photographic mission by <strong>Chlo\u00e9 Beaulac<\/strong> (Longueuil, Qu\u00e9bec) in the Laurentians in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>To see in the Avignon RCM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maria<\/strong> will host <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/claudine-doury-in-maria\/\"><em>Amour<\/em><\/a><em> (Amur)<\/em> by artist <strong>Claudine Doury<\/strong> (France), a member of Agence VU\u2019. This exhibit will be installed near the natural steel frame (a work of art by Yves Gonthier) in the rest stop area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Three exhibitions will be held in <strong>Carleton-sur-Mer<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/nayla-dabaji-in-carleton-sur-mer\/\"><em>Documentary Adrift<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Nayla Dabaji<\/strong> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec), bringing together photographic, textual and sound elements, will take place at the Vaste et Vague artist center from August 6 to September 6, 2021. <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/dave-heath-in-carleton-sur-mer\/\"><em>A Dialogue with Solitude<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Dave Heath<\/strong> (Toronto, Ontario), will be presented at Parc des Horizons. Finally, <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/lespace-du-livre-2021\/\"><strong><em>L\u2019espace du livre\u00a02021<\/em><\/strong><\/a> will be held at the Gabrielle-Bernard-Dub\u00e9 library from July 30 to September 4, 2021. This exhibition consists of more than 25 Qu\u00e9bec-published photobooks chosen by curator Serge Allaire and the same number of French books selected by the Nantes-based organization Pratiques et Usages de l\u2019Image, all of which consider publication as the intended result of an artistic approach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miguasha National Park<\/strong>, in Nouvelle, will be hosting <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/jacques-leonard-at-miguasha-national-parc-nouvelle\/\"><em>Gypsies<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Jacques L\u00e9onard<\/strong> (Spain) outside the former visitor center. A new exhibit location, the <strong>Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site<\/strong> in Pointe-\u00e0-la-Croix, will welcome <a href=\"https:\/\/2026.photogaspesie.ca\/en\/portfolio\/yves-arcand-at-pointe-a-la-croix\/\"><em>Traces<\/em><\/a> by <strong>Yves\u00a0Arcand<\/strong> (Matane, Qu\u00e9bec).
